Emotions vs inner conviction

Often we feel we have to prove ourselves and explain our emotions away. Some people do not smile and snap at others completely unrelated to their problems. Others smile and put on a front not accepting any pain. To wear a mask all the time even to yourself is dangerous ground. I know that we should not wear our hearts on our sleeves and let emotions run our lives. We can smile in the midst of pain and confusion when what we believe is bigger than our present situation. My inner conviction is in God and all I know He has done and what he is yet to do.

*Smile* Jesus loves you!

About Plantain Periodicals

Hello! Welcome to the Plantain Periodicals blogs. The name stems from the kitchen moments I had with my friends at university cooking plantain and planning our lives together. I have used this space as a window into my mind and the way I make sense of all my experiences through writing. This is where I share those conversations and moments that happen inside my head as a young woman growing up in 21st century London. Hopefully you'll be entertained and also learn a thing or two. My main blog ad: www.nissiknows.wordpress.com My literature blog: www.plantainperiodicals.wordpress.com NMx

I wake up every morning saying Thank you to Gog. for he has allowed me to be here just 1 more day. some people feel a false sense of entitlement to that. and so they cold hearted & crel to others. a little kindness goes a long way. even if you’re having a bad day, don’t be mean to the person next to you. chances are it’s not their falt, it’s your own. Change what you are on the INSIDE 2 reflect WHO you are on the OUTSIDE. and the 2 will come togther to make you a wonderful person no one ever knew.be TOLERABLE of differences cause it’s what makes us all unique.
